The fourth generation of Limak Airport Services Institute has graduated

Pristina, 12 October 2018 – With a solemn ceremony held in Bogazici University in Istanbul, Turkey, the fourth generation of Limak Airport Services Institute has graduated. The thirty students of this generation have officially completed the training part from Bogazici Univeristy and ENAC institute, thus managing to successfully certify in airport services.

“As the largest investor in Kosovo, we are ready to serve the country in the best way. This is the reason we have established Limak Airport Services Institute; because we think that Kosovar young people are very valuable, and they are ready to serve their country if they are given the chance” – said on this occasion Ebru Özdemir, Limak Investment Chairperson of the Board. Haldun Firat Köktürk, CEO of Limak Kosovo International Airport also adressed to the attandends. “Our Airport is now buzzing with youth, just as the country of Kosovo is. This is what our visitors see when they first land to the country, highly professional well educated young people, fluent in numerous international languages and able to provide the best airport services” – stated Köktürk.

Limak Airport Services Institute is the design of success, a path to show that excellence does exist. It is established within Limak Kosovo International Airport to support the best students of University of Prishtina, to create the prospect of being a part of one of the most successful companies in Kosovo and encourage the youth that success is created solely from educational efforts and self-commitment. The program was initiated by Limak Kosovo International Airport and is implemented in cooperation with the University of Prishtina ‘Hasan Prishtina’, Bogazici University from Turkey and ENAC Institute in France. After the certification, the students are given the opportunity to become part of the paid internship program at a number of departments within the Prishtina International Airport ‘Adem Jashari’ while the best ones are offered employment.
