Germania Launches Pristina – Copenhagen Route

BERLIN/COPENHAGEN/PRISTINA – 31 January 2018 – At the end of March 2018, independent German airline Germania will open a new route between Copenhagen and Pristina. The airline’s green and white aircraft will fly between the two cities every Friday. The connection will be operated in close cooperation with Germania’s long-time partner for flights to and from Kosovo, Air Prishtina.

“We have been cooperating with Germania since 2012 and started with routes from Pristina to destinations like Dusseldorf, Munich and Basel-Mulhouse,” says Leyla Ibrahimi, CEO of Air Prishtina. “Our new connection between Pristina and Copenhagen further underlines our efforts to set up a route network that is geared to the needs of our customers.”

“Our talks with Air Prishtina and Copenhagen Airport about opening a route to Pristina have been going on for some time now,” comments Claus Altenburg, Germania’s Director of Sales. “We agreed that this spring would be the perfect time to launch it.” Germania has recently announced flights between Pristina and Paris that will also start in March.

In addition to affordable tickets, high quality standards and good reliability, Germania also offers a enjoyable flight experience: the cabins feature comfortable seats and innovative ambient lighting. Furthermore, every passenger benefits from a 20 kg baggage allowance and 6 kg of cabin baggage.
