Limak constructs Senegal International Airport “Blaise-Diagne” in record time


Pristina, 11 December 2017 – Limak Company that manages PIA “Adem Jashari” has completed in record time the construction project of Senegal International Airport “Blaise- Diagne”. Four Kosovars have also been part of this project who were working for Limak company which has completed the 545 million euros project sponsored by the Government of Senegal.

The built of the Western-country’s new airport had been delayed for more than 10 years before Limak started with this project which lasted only 8 months. Limak will also manage the airport for the next 25 years.

“Blaise Diagne” airport, which processed 2 million passengers last year, is expected to process 3 million passengers in its first year and to reach 5 million until 2023. After building this airport the African country aims to become an important hub for the international flights in region.
